Awards categories announced for the Dooagh Pipe Band Awards 2026

The 2026 Dooagh Pipe Band Awards will take place in the Wavecrest during the afternoon break on St Patrick's Day. Timings depends on how long it takes the band to march through the villages. Guideline 3.30pm - 4.00pm

These days, we are all encouraged to tighten our belts, and in line with this trend we are offering a reduced number of categories. As a result, each vote is now worth double. At least. So make sure your vote counts!

To facilitate a more efficient parade through the village, a system has been chosen to speed things up. You will be able to vote in the lobby in the Wavecrest on your way to the afternoon tea break. Postal votes will be rejected. Results will be announced while you are all partaking of much needed refreshments.

To vote, write down the name of the person you think should win each/any category and place the paper in the corresponding receptacle. One vote per category please. Pens and paper provided.
