Dooagh Pipe Band Awards 2025
The 2025 Dooagh Pipe Band Awards will take place in the Wavecrest during the afternoon break on St Patrick's Day. Timings depends on how long it takes the band to march through the villages. Guideline 3.30pm - 4.00pm
The awards categories are:
• Best Dressed
• Oldest Swinger in Town
• Comedian
• Rear of the Year
• Beard of the year
• Out of step
• Late comer
• Hide & Seek
• Family affair - most family members
• Best haircut
Voting will take place in the hall in the Wavecrest at the beginning of the afternoon tea break, with the results announced at the end.
To vote, write down the name of the person you think should win and place the paper in the corresponding category. One vote per category please. Pens and paper provided.
